3 harvests of Pineapples off the same plant before they get yanked and replanted.

The 1st crop of Pineapple is the largest, but is the least flavoursome, most sour, and has the tough core. However it ships well.

The 3rd crop {Sugarloaf Pineapple} is the smallest, not sour, and the core is the best part. However, it does not ship well.

THe 2nd crop can be seen sold abroad these days and is between the two other crops in characteristics.
