It made a huge difference for me. I had mine removed on 4/10/07 and I had it for 3 years. I can feel how happier I am. I no longer feel like I am going to snap someone's head off for looking at me. I am more patient with my kids. Overall, I feel so much better mentally.

My severe cystic acned is completely gone. I no longer have extremely tender breasts all the time. Now it is just mild tenderness a few days pre-period. With the IUD it was constant. Also, with the Mirena I would wake up early every morning with a lower back ache. I have not had one since removal.

All in all, I am much better since removal. I never would have believed it had I not experienced it myself.
