Yes this looks like a good vacation project. Indeed most of the cleanses you can find here on CZ and you can make your own program.

On the other hand I have been to spa's to loose weight and yes I could have gone on a diet myself, but I wanted someone else to think for me and made a vacation out of it.
I now have a personal trainer, again I can excercise on my own, but I need someone to motivate me. I can afford it but since I am by nature frugal every time I have to push myself to write the check and say to myself you have to do this you need it.

If you can easily afford it, it could be a good start and then you can start following the people here, so you have a support system.
