Do yourselves a favor, plan on visiting from January to March. You will find the weather to be very pleasant and you won't regret it. Homestead, Florida is nothing to write home about, and Coral Castle is quite small, although interesting. You may want to plan stopping at the castle if you are on your way to Key West, then you might enjoy your trip much more.
