Ed accomplished things with stone that most of us do not.
Statues and monuments had to be moved to save them from the backwaters caused by the Asswam dam. Engineers found that they had to cut the stones into segments to move them, even with the latest and most powerful machinery ever known on this planet.
Geologists told of where the original stones had come from. Obviously, they had not been cut and moved by machinery.
'Realists' feel some leverage and slave labor must have been used, yet recent discoveries of the graves of ancient builders show that these folks were not slaves, but highly respected craftsmen.
Perhaps it was done by leverage and labor, but it tickles my fancy to think that they may also have been able to cut, carve, and move that stone by re-arranging their concepts of the nature of matter and their own abilities.
If this is so, then why should we worry over the tasks before us? Maybe all we need to do is to stand back and look at the bigger picture...stretch our minds.
