Hi - I have noticed that the whiteness with water is a big concern of yours! Can yo uexplain further - is it when you have a long exposure like a shower, or does it happen even just when drinking water? My peeling lips flares have lasted anywhere from a day or two to weeks on end. Not so much swollen, but peeling, burning, bleeding, crack open easily. And very rough feeling if I run tongue over them. As far as whiteness goes, they have paled soem after shower, but I have not noticed that made them peel any worse than they already were. I hope that helps.
