Hi, MCP,

The first time I tried the Iodine bath idea I used about 10 drops of tincture, and it felt like "too much", just because the glow I got was overriding everything else and distracting me, but it let me know I was on the right track. The next few days I used maybe 4 or 5 drops, which is an estimate because I was tipping the bottle, since it didn't have a dropper in it.

Lugol's is stronger than 2% tincture, so I've been using 2 drops in my bathwater since it arrived. I'm about to try 3 this morning.

I was fortunate to have only 2 amalgams, and to live close to Mexico where I could have the removal done inexpensively and carefully. With novocaine the procedure itself didn't hurt, but my jaw was mildly sore for a couple of days from having my mouth wide open for over an hour, and my teeth were heat and cold sensitive for about a month. They're fine now, and I'm really glad I had it done.
