Never an Outbreak's book suggests spraying h2o2 on the area before and after sex. before to see if you are shedding(foam) and after to kill any potential virus.

I know that showering right after sex is supposed to be very helpful in preventing sexually transmitted diseases.

Do both!

Personally I've been too afraid to have sex with anyone since my outbreak(downtown). I'm not sure what to do about it either.
