Most folks will never know about their bromism, since it is insidious. Teaching them to correct a condition that they cannot themselves perceive, due to the insidious onset, is all but impossible. It's on the order of trying to get a little grinch inside them to try eating green eggs and ham on a train in the rain with a cat in a hat....

On the other hand, people who've been sick, and have had enough of the costly failures of allopathic medicine are eager to pick up green eggs and ham, and gobble them down.
