Tracey, it doesn't boil down to this at all, at all.

You seem to be stuck in either/or Aristotelian thinking. If it's not this it must be that. I think universe works in the fuzzy gray area inbetween and such extreme thinking either way on ANY subject just leads you to stop questioning your belief systems, and thus stunts your growth.

You seem to think recognition of the illusion of separateness equates to "life is meaningless". This is a fundamental error and one that is often made. No harm, no foul:-) I suggest you read Alan Watts - The WAy of Zen to clarify this.
