Trapper I believe leaves the water in a glass jar in the sun for a day... not sure if he allows the moon cycle to hit it or not.

I have also heard it is best to leave the jar in contact with the ground while one does this.

There are other things he does, but I cannot remember if they are consistent or not and I think his best description was lost in the crash... wait for him to chime in.
