Castor oil has been used for centuries. My mother still takes it internally. She is an Irish immigrant and grew up taking it. My coworker is an Iranian immigrant, and his entire family takes it twice a year internally. Make sure you use hexane free castor oil. As to that particular "recipe" with 2 ounces of orange juice and drinking hot water, I found it on the internet. Don't remember where. It works well. My Iranian father's friend also told him to drink hot tea after taking it. So that is similar to the hot water I learned about.
