I have no clue, I only use peat moss direct from the ground that is local in my area. I discovered many years ago that all the peat moss sold in bags had already been used in commercial green houses and loaded with chemicals and seeds, etc.

The chips attract bugs and termites and have caught fire and burned houses down.
