Sounds really awesome! Something totally different. I haven't been happy with most of the yogurt cultures. They're designed to die quickly and don't always have the right bacteria.

I used to live in a town with an Armenian deli. They're yogurt was so-o good, like nothing I've ever tasted. Richard Barmakian, author, (he had a health store next to the Deli), said you could just keep the culture going a long time ago.

Even read where people weren't allowed to bring their starters on the boat to Ellis Island when immigrating, so one woman dipped a handkerchief in it, then dried it and took that with her for the culture. That shows how stable they CAN really be!

You might ask the manufacturer about it. Would love to hear how it works out.
