Thanks for the response, I appreciate your insight. As to your question about 5'11" 160. I think it's a good target. I don't know how you can do a Water Fast and move. I mean you need energy to exert that stuff. Peter Glickman wrote about a friend that did a water fast, that had to be put on bed rest on the last day. So good luck with that goal, but be careful.
Myself, I don't want to step on a scale, because it will psych me out. I want to focus on how my clothes feel and my fitness level and whether I am losing inches or not. Otherwise, I get too wrapped about what 130 means, versus 160 and significant muscle tone. Tyra Banks had real anxiety with the papparazi when she gained weight and went in to tyrade about it. It's for that reason I think it important to keep your goals focused on health and fitness, which you seem to be advocating for me to do already.
I've decided to drink another glass of lemonade during the day. I come home and I'm really hungry and water isn't helping me with my workout the next day. My workouts have been stepped up because I'm preparing to run a 10 mile race in October. I'm starting with the 30/30 program and lifting, so when I start doing serious mileage, I'm strong. Lifting is important, because as you lose fat, you have to replace it with muscle. I don't want cellulite from this cleanse, because I wasn't dedicated to the gym. If I take a day off from the gym, then I'll stick to 9-12 oz a day.
Best of luck on your Water Fast and thanks for your insight. I'm still amazed you dropped 40 lbs in 28 days. I've read other blog entries that only lost 30 lbs in 40 days. Best of luck to you again.
