Hello to everyone. I apologize upfront, as I posted this as a reply to another message. I realized it would be more appropriate to put this question here as a new thread instead of hijacking someone else's.
I've been doing The Master Cleanse for 19 days now and I've been doing well. I have looked at the scale, rather focused on how my clothes feel and if I'm losing inches. I finally feel some inches being shed on my hips (close to 4 inches). My intention is to go for 40 days.
My question is that I'm working out and burning anywhere between 400 - 700 calories daily. Between walking my puppy for bathroom breaks, swimming and run/walking for 30 minutes it adds up. Certain days like Day 14, I had so much energy to burn in the gym, I just took advantage of it and I didn't feel exhausted, I just felt sore as I trained each muscle to muscle failure. Though, I'm concerned that I'm not ingesting enough calories with 12 10-12 oz lemonade drinks, daily. The Maple syrup, lemons add up to 1300 daily. I understand we need to maintain 1200 for bodies to function. Should I be drinking more lemonade or adding more syrup, to make sure my calorie deficit doesn't fall below 500 - 750? My current BMR is 1672 cals.
I don't want to slow down my metabolism, not just because of weight loss, but I'm actively working out and don't want to cut back on my cardio/miles.
Thanks for any assistance.
