Had decided to do a Watermelon cleanse t'day...too hot here in the Twin Cities to eat.

We went to a very popular Co-op to purchase some 'organic' watermelon. It was ruby red & had a sticker stating it was from California.

After eating about 1/2 of it, I began to feel 'off'. Never having had this type of reaction to Watermelon before, I was stumped. I feel dizzy, nauseaous, sinuses are very congested & I feel a headache just under the surface.

I knew immediately that this was the answer to what was occurring. A high Nitrogen & phosphorus soil.

FYI...BEWARE OF PRODUCE TOUTED AS ORGANICALLY GROWN...imo, in lieu of the takeover of Agri-business, that unless it's from YOUR garden, expect 'organics' to taste flat & even green - even when their appearance says otherwise.
