What a great thread guys. It's good to get a some cross referencing and data on everyone.
I'm probably (and ironically) closest in mindset with Trap. I do get the selenium in, the C, and as much Seasalt (or whatever is provided) - but all in the form of food/wild juice combos, etc. I'm considering getting my hands on selenomethionine simply because often enough I cannot eat what does have selenium in it. A was a little confused by the post (forget who) mentioning the varying levels of selenium in Brazil nuts. This so far has been my selenium of choice.
I try to take MSM/Glucosamine as well as L-cyst. as much as possible. I hate swallowing caps, pills. Bullets from Trap - no problem going down.
NOW onto the B's. I'm all over Coenzymate B complex (sublingual). For reasons of my own. In a nutshell, what I understood or discovered along the way was the following:
B vitamins cannot be retained in the body and must be obtained through food or supplement.
This is important to me. I do not eat enough, and have had long stretches of not being able to swallow (mostly behind me now unless a bad Herx day from a whammy dose of this or that - for my own 'stuff'.)
Also, whatever happened to coq10 as a detox enabler? Also, any thoughts on activated charcoal as a toxin byproduct crap catcher? I'm using L-Cyst with this in mind, but not sure if I'm on the right page.
I'm gettin me-self a big bunch of cilantro today also. Bought some beets I want to cut up and make some kind of salad with (include the cilantro) or juice.
Onions - funny Trap should mention them. I'm convinced there's something about the Big O. (Not THAT "Big O", batgirl and HoW...) So throwing some O into my soon salad. Any other ingredient suggestions?
Any one for a late lunch?
