The medical books proclaim that people who eat breads/grains consume more alcohol that the town drunk.

Tinctures last forever and when made correctly, they absorb the chemicals that are dissolved by grain alcohol as well as chemicals that dissolve in water.

Proper Glycerin is a healthy herb to begin with according to Dr. Christopher; Dr. Richard Shulze proclaims Maple Syrup is better yet in herbal formulas, etc.

Some herbs are better as tinctures and others as powders, etc. In Nature the native peoples did it the best way, they Chewed the whole herb.............You need no alcohol, no glycerin, no blender, no capsules, etc... just collect your roots/barks or know their location and use as needed.

I personally store my herbs as tinctures, because I may not use them in 20 years if ever!!!!!! Regardless when I use them, they are ready and the older they get, the better they are. I wish I could wait until all tinctures were 12 years old or older, many I have are this old now, but the most common ones I use are rarely more than 2-3 years old.

How you use herbs is a personal preferance, chewing is probably the very best and cheapest way of all. The stronger the taste, the stronger the herb/effects.
