"We've found no medical or scientific link" to irradiated mail and health-related complaints...

This kind of put-off / dismissal seems nearly identical to the practices of other businesses beholden to a corrupt system.  This attitude has become so widely present across the spectrum of the system that one almost gets the idea that perhaps this policy is contained in a top-secret government-provided handbook that is required reading material... as in SOP, for anyone that gets hired into such compromised businesses. The ADA has relied on the same attitude for over a century when it comes to dental mercury. It was thanks to them that many of us learned, the hard way, the duh-effect in play here; in order to find medical or scientific links, short of those that accidetnally fall out of the sky into one's lap, one must first, generally, be LOOKING for medical or scientific links in order to have then so "found" them. If there is one thing that many of us have learned, the various compromised businesses that make up this wonderful system of ours have become exceptionally practiced - uniformly it seems,  in knowing how to studiously not look for the kinds of things (trouble, as far as they see it, anyway), like medical or scientific links, that may only serve to further expose their compromised ways; plausible denial, eh? If they cannot be accused (or proven) of ever having been looking for the purpose of finding, how can they then be held guilty for having never "found" what they were never looking for in the first place?   

Personally, I don't get it. A couple of select people tightly connected with & beholden to the system - congress people at that!, are alleged to have randomly recieved a bit of anthrax in the mail one day... and now suddenly they've made a federal case out of it such that all mail must be irradiated ? ;) Over the two-hundred plus years of days since it came into existance, a total of 2 or 3 tainted envelopes (so it was alleged) out of what by now must have amounted to billions of envelopes delivered untainted over the course of more than 73,000 days down through the USPS ages... that's a pretty darn good batting average.... but no, just a couple of run-of-the-mill minions claim to have been injured by mail-order anthrax, and this warrants them causing all us other mortals to suffer by them turning the entire system upside down.... ?

As far as this goes, I expect any and all of the alternative carriers to be equally compromised - up Brown one side, down Federal Express the other side, with all the other me-toos in between too. If one really wants to circumvent our modern police-state mail system and get goods through unmolested, un-irradiated, all it takes is to know, personally, one run-of-the-mill state-connected minion, or suitable alternative; like a big-shot involved with national air carrier shipments from China into the states for walmart, or big-shot OTH carrier for JPHunt, or a congress person, or somebody within the administration, their cabinet, a military officer, or the like. Any and all of these  types get to transport all manner of contraband with the privilege of being permitted to circumvent the entire bleepin locked-down, police-state security system that all us mortal humans are now required to be encumbered by 24-7. Cuban cigars have been outlawed (by our hired lawmakers who themselves are quite often the worst lawbreakers) for decades... and who is among those most often portrayed as having a secret stash of Cubans (besides Michael Richards, of course)? Step 1 - get to know at least one such minion - a bill clinton would do wonderfully, for instance, he has his own brand spanking new international airport in Mena, Arkansas, replete with every security-circumventing "free zone" feature ever known to home-land-secured mankind; Step 2 - give them whatever package you need delivered and let the rest up to them to see that it becomes a priority to be be delivered promtly, un-molested, un-irradiated, and probably by gasoline-powered private conveyance (jumbo carrier jets, ocean liners, limosines, Humers, or the like) that are no doubt already being covertly funded/covered by your tax dollars anyway; Step 3 - step back and allow your friend connected to government make it happen.... after all, these are the kinds of people that can make all kinds of seemingly impossible things happen, right? Why else would would good people continue to tolerate their existance?
