What you are writing is nonsense.  High brix good , low brix bad; it is garbage.  As you stated earlier that some use charts to determine what thy believe the brix reading should be.   This is not high brix, this is your incorrect interpretation of what is happening.   A blood sucrose level of 20 mg/dl is bad while a good reading would be 100mg/dL, this does not mean that high reading is good.  No in the contrary a reading of 200mg/dL is undesirable.   Similarly your thinking  and mantra about high brix is equally flawed.  In one of your previous post you refuted yourself, yet you obviously missed it.

And as I mentioned the goals of the farmer in many ways run contrary to the objectives of the consumer.

You are also wrong about high brix = insect resistance, the research does not support that conclusion.  If its not good enough for a bug, what makes you think it is good enough for a human?
