There are huge commercial organic orchards about 3 hours from me and ALL the fruit I have ever bought from there can be sat on the counter... it just dries out, NEVER rots and the bugs leave them alone.

Good stuff.

I buy their stuff by the bushel.

I have found a few organic farms within the same three hour circle with just as good foods... and am working my diet into seasonal local organic foods.

I agree with your post... organic is just the beginning.
