Jesus is both a liar and a sinner. The Christian marriage has been outlawed in all 50 states and does not exist anywhere in Western Civilization. If a believer has not the ability to have a Christian marriage, as defined by the Bible, the Covenant is null and void, hence Christ is a liar. If the church's cannot and will not speak out against the extinction of the Christian marriage, Christianity does not exist, and once again Christ is a liar. What churches preach is best described as Churchianity, not Christianity.

A quotation from the forum - "Paul also said that the husband should sacrifice for his wife as Christ sacrificed for the church. Since there is no sacrifice greater then what Christ sacrificed for the church, then there is no sacrifice too great for men to make for their wives."

What was meant in this paraphrase is that the man should be willing to lay down his life for his wife if danger should befall - the natural role of the man being protector and defender of the household. There is clearly no reference to the woman having dominion over the man, much less barking orders to the man.

The Holy Bible is abundantly clear on who should be in charge between a man and a woman. Even if the husband is in error, this is still not a reason for a man's authority to be challenged. Please note the following:

1 Pet 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

The man was given dominion over the woman in the Book of Genesis. Women were never meant for leadership and often show complete incompetence. Please note the following:

16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Adam also is punished, and he is punished for allowing the woman to have dominion over him.

17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

Because of their inherent incompetence, women are instructed to be silent in church affairs.

1 Cor 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

The husband is clearly meant to be the boss.

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

The husband (father) is clearly designated to be in charge of the family.

1 Tim 3:12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
