That's a ridiculous idea. I have no problem with any tool, but the way you are marketing the refractometer is just wrong. It indicates a serious problem with your understanding of what it measures and how those measurements should be interpreted.
I evaluate the use of the refractometer just as I would if I were using it for any other purpose, and I have used it for a variety of purposes. The problem is what you think you are measuring with the Brix and what you are actually measuring are two different things, you don't need courses in quantitative and analytical chemistry to figure this out.
You are also misrepresenting my position regarding Moreless, my only intention regarding what he writes is to correct the innumerable mistakes he makes regarding very fundamental and simple concepts. Do I have to remind everyone of "fats are carbohydrates" or "isotopes are acidic" and that is just two of the hundreds of mistakes he makes nearly every time he posts.
The explanation to the responses to your post is simple; you are just wrong. If you don't believe me then check your the local analytical chemist at your local college and he can set you right.
