you have to read up on the subject and know what you are doing. you cant just pick one up one day and be an expert.

the fact still stands that many people have used them for decades now and high brix crops do NOT attract insects, and low brix crops WILL. so whatever, the refractometer is reading, its readings are of extreme value to the grower. experience trumps theory every time, in my book.

Acres USA has trained farmers and growers for decades now on how to use brix readings to grow healthy, nutrient dense food with great success. the fact of the matter is that brix readings work.
