"so, lets face it, someone has to make decisions about what is right and wrong."
So, who do we allow to make that decision? We allow "some person or persons" to say what is right and wrong..for us?
I do not know about you but when it comes to my person, I do not see that anyone has the right to say what is right or wrong...for me. I am in control of myself, whether others like what I do or not.
There are people who do things that others SAY or THINK is wrong, yet who decided these thoughts. Who made the "moral" decision of right and wrong? In certain countries, it is acceptable to expose yourself. In this UPtight country, it is sooooo wrong to expose yourself...UNLESS you are trying to sell something OR it is for "the good" of some person or persons choices.
This world we live in, is so very judgmental. This world we live in, seems to have 'morals' when it suits them and ONLY then.
I am very much Pro-Choice. I do not believe any person has the right to tell me what to do with my body. My son will be 19, one week from today. It was my choice but I will admit I made a "deal with God" as to him being born. I told God, under these conditions (which I stated), I will have a baby. IF they were not met, I would not. LOL Now first and foremost, I have to say God has a VERY good sense of humor. He let me believe I knew what I needed. At any rate, the 'conditions' I had stated were answered in the manner that I had not expected. Thus, my son was born (I am a woman of her word). It was my choice but had these conditions not have been met, I would not have had a child. I would not have let anyone know my choice either... they would not have known I was pregnant. OH and yes, adoption COULD have been an option but not for ME. I was not going to carry a baby for 9 months to give to someone else. Simply put, MY choice was to have a baby or not...no other one was right for me.
A woman who has an abortion, is the one who has to live with it. The woman is responsible for her life. No one individual (or government office or official) has the right to say what she is "ALLOWED" to do.
OH and I firmly believe that the baby was obviously not to be born at that time or the baby would have been conceived by another.
Have a safe and blessed weekend! OH and THANK A VET, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY TO "REMEMBER" THIS WEEKEND!
God's speed.
Beth
