Yes, Embraced by the Light by Betty Jean Eadie I think. I have read it and she has written one or two others since then. Funny thing, I have a copy that someone gave me when my sister passed and was going to get it to check the spelling of her name and it appears to be missing from my library. Another good read, Saved by the Light by Dannion Brinkley. This one is a little older than the BJE books. The monklike figures I saw in my dreams were not totally comforting, but these were not dressed in white either.
