Most people that are wealthy are not elitist or snobby. Most rich people actually own smaller business and started from scratch. In other words, most rich people started from humble backgrounds. That is one of the beautiful things about living in the U.S., or in many other countries. The only person that can keep you down is yourself. Yes, there might be obstacles. And it is harder for some people because of race, age, ethnicity and family. But in the end it is not impossible for anyone.

Today most millionaires are people that are self-made. The rich who inherent their money is small compared to the number that have become wealthy from humble upbringings.

The bible never says that wealth is bad, but that the love of money is. The millionaires that I had the fortunate to meet where just doing things they loved, the money was just a sign and a side effect of their success. Most drove regular cars that where a couple OF years old and lived in normal houses.
