"What do you take?"

I "take" a different view. Rather than taking supplements, cardiovascular health is about taking appropriate exercise, taking healthy foods, and taking care of your channels of elimination. If you just do that you don't have to worry about it.

That being said, we do eat a lot of cayenne. We started out hating it and just eating it because finallyfaith says it's good for you and he's really smart. But now we enjoy it. I sprinkle it instead of pepper on most everything we eat. Food tastes kind of bland without it. It's also good for your circulation and bowels, helping to keep you regular and prevent strokes.

We also eat a lot of garlic. I puree 3 or 4 whole heads of raw garlic with some olive oil and keep it in the fridge in a jar. I add a dollop to lots of things. We eat a LOT of garlic. As an added bonus, we are never bothered by vampires and no one is hitting on my husband at work :)
