I so ask direct questions but I know so much it's easy. I worry about the people who don't ...sitting in with my mother is an eye opener.
I try to keep my mouth shut and just listen as she really wants it to be her visit.
She really has no clue what to ask about and later even with all my knowledge still doesn't make connections to ask me much less Flechas.
For example she was feeling really jittery after being on Iodine for awhile and she didn't mention it for a few weeks. Didn't even occur to her that perhaps her thyroid meds might be too much after being on 50mgs Iodine for 2 months...duh of course so we reduced her armour and she was fine. You really have to spell out what to look for. Of course my mom is 80 and she's struggles with her mind but still I wish he'd give out a really good good handout for all patients with basic stuff. Kinda like on breastcancerchoices. I've give that every time I go hoping he'll photocopy. he gives out all the heavy duty research but I wonder how many of his patients read all that.
Anyhow....when I'm on these sites with all you super bright, super inquisitive people I really do forget huge chunks of the normal world just isn't there.
LOLOL...okay so I've been in the midst of all this Iodine stuff for awhile...and where did I finally get the courage to move it up to 100mgs+/day for any length of time.....OVER here reading you guys!
And am I sure this is the thing ..I really don't know. I was having my thyroid go all over the place but once I added in selenium that stopped. (I thank J. Brunetti for getting me to look closer at that piece)
I'm so curious about what Jeff Crow sees or suggests when lower Lugol amounts don't do the trick. He's been working with iodine for quite awhile so I would hope he's gotten feedback from many customers. I'm not so much interested in debating amounts as I am really curious....
Anyhow...I think my post sounds pretty negative about Flechas and I didn't mean it that way. I'll probably remove it after awhile. I think he's extremely bright and motivated to help people. There's nothing flashy about his office or anything that makes me think he's motivated by bringing in big money. Little simple office in modest medical building in a small town in NC with a small staff. I like that.
btw...Flechas has been of 50mgs for years and he told me Abrahams takes 100mgs. I think Abrahams is in his 90s? Lynne F. heard him at the iodine conference and said he's sharp as a tack.
Abrahams and flechas also take cogimax a silica product that helps the brain. I started using that one as I've returned to school and love that stuff. So that and iodine might really be the ticket to keeping the brain flexible and working.
