I wouldn't be so quick to get rid of "mucoid plaque" in the colon. Some theorists beleive it actually prevents the body from absorbing toxic material and by doing so one is subject to further infection, illness and disorder. I am not implying that an occassional enema isn't helpful by any means. With respect to colon function, Dr. John Lilly said, "keep your worm happy"
