Well it would help to find out what enlightenment is. The person is not the physical body which is imperfect. It has pus, saliva, feces, urine and it is subject to decay and death. The person is really something that is perfect. People only have two problems. They are time and space. You come from a place that has no time or space. You are trying to understand something that is beyond time and space using time and space. See this short article What is Enlightenment to understand what it really is.
