The Yanomami have adapted to a very low sodium diet of around 8,500 milligrams of potassium every day, yet we limit our supplements to 99mg (by law)... RDA I think is 3,500 mg.

That one (the 99mg limit) has always brought up red flags for me too.

I think we have had this discussion a time or two.
