Scott, I believe I have read on this forum that if you are having an attack to take a dose of Epsom Salt and that will dilate the duct so the stone can pass. I also have read people have done an emergency flush. I'm new to this also having been diagnosed with Gallstones a year ago. It seems sensible to me if you are not too sick to drink the oil it would be ok to do the emergency flush. After all the stone is already stuck so why not try to get it to move. Most do a flush every 2 to 3 weeks until they see no stones. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Keep reading the forum and good luck to your wife.
