After 2 CT scans and MRI my dr. confirmed that I have a very large hemangioma on my liver, with several smaller spots.

My questions are:
1. Where on earth did this come from?
2. What do I do to treat it? And will Milk Thistle help?
3. My ex-husband has Hep-C, could this be from him?
4. Was this something that I was born with?
4. What are the dangers and does drinking (not excessively) affect?

My mind is racing a million miles knowing that I have this "thing" on my liver.
