Hello!

"Many people have taken prescription drugs, and their infections came back as soon as their presriptions ran out."

I'd like to suggest that if the above has occurred, it is highly probable that the problem wasn't sufficiently taken care in the first place; therefore, infections don't necessarily "come back".

Just a thought to consider.
