Hi Fil, I totally understand your view about wanting confirmation. I have to wait for another excuse to have a sonogram because of insurance reimbursement. I have a theory that may jive with what the docs say, though. It may be that large, calcified stones really dont come out, but by doing the cleanses we remove the "sludge" which is the stagnant bile that becomes the "stones" we excrete when the chemistry of the cleansing recipes combines with the sludge. When the sludge we remove is gone, our gallbladder has more capacity to do its function, thus making us feel better until more sludge builds up. Consider the fact that 80% of people with Gallstones have no symptoms. These are people known to have had larger and way many more than my lonely three. See where I'm going? What about those folks who have all the classic symptomatology, but no stones? It could be that stagnant bile thing going on. There are some people on this website who have posted ways of breaking down the stones. I'm still trying to fing that GCG locally. Good luck to you.
