I believe the problem with raw eggs is that the raw egg white can bind biotin. However if one is eating only the yolk or eating the whole egg raw, there is plenty of biotin in the yolk to overcome this problem. I'm sure you can google and find much information on this.

I believe the recipe you were referring to called for egg yolks, so it shouldn't be a problem.
