Actually, Charles is right.

Foot bone is connected to the leg-bone and leg-bone

Everything inside human body is connected with everything, and especially our feet.

Make a search on Reflexology - reflexotherpy - foot massgae and you will understand. Our feet have special reflex zones of all major organs and body parts.

When we treet those zones ... it is as if we are treating the exact organ.

It can help that organ heal itself. It can help with a strong pain, or with any other symptom.

Walking barefoot on stones (like stone beach) is the best therapy. But, you have to push your own limits of pain!
