I add a few drops 0f Lugol's to the moreless alkalising drink (2x / day) for the last month - since I saw no change I tried in the last week adding one Lugol drop, then moved on to 2 drops to the 1st glass of water in the morning - at first at 2 drops I felt a rush for a day or 2, now a mild detox. My friend with candida-now-asthma respiratory trouble is breathing much better with each passing day - since doing the drops 1st thing AM. BTW, many years ago cheap kelp pills (4 pills 2x daily) from Swanson Vitamins gave this person Iodine overdose (showed in blood test) - so I was slow to start kelp and iodining - often wonder why the overdose and so on. Just did the 5th Liver Flush so maybe that will help - elimination channels.
