Hi Ginny! I'm on day one as well. I actually flat out refuse to get one the scale....because:
1) I have really let myself go over the past year, and I know if I actually see a number on the scale, it'll probably send me right over the edge! :)
2) I really want to do this for spiritual reasons as well as reap the benefits of weight loss. So again, seeing a number on the scale may take me away from that focus.
Don't get me wrong, I don't see anything wrong with stepping on the scale...I'm just opting not to this time around. I know I have about 60 extra pounds that I'm carrying around with me. I had a really bad year....broke my leg AND ankle. It was during this time that I became so depressed over my situation that I threw my hands up and ate WAY too much...which you can see would NOT be a good thing to do when your not mobile. Oh well, the past is the past....time for a new beginning. Good luck, email me anytime!
