Well, my first flush appears to have been successful, I thought as I fished the little dudes out with my fingers.

I passed lots of tiny stones (1/4 of a pea) with my first couple of movements this morning. But wowzer! the stones I just passed on my third trip to the bathroom!

Some are yellowy brown and look granular, others are smooth, bright jade green and actually rather pretty. I saved five that are between 1.2 and 1.8 cm long and about 1 cm across.

Are some from the liver and others from the gallbladder? Is it possible that at least some of them are from reactions in the gut and not from the liver or gall bladder at all?

(My partner was all geared up for doing it at the same time, but couldn't get past the first 4-5 Tablespoons of olive oil. Can you infuse the oil with garlic or something and sop it up with a nice loaf of bread?)
