It has for me! I wouldn't say my attacks are serious enough to go to the ER or anything, but make it impossible to do anything while going through one. I used to take magnesium citrate and now use Epsom - I think the Epsom works better and faster. My triggers seem to be foods with lots of butter and sometimes eggs, but not always. Just try a little and see if it helps you.
