Following are a medley of articles, some Pro, some Con, on the issue of intentionally placing hazardous industrial waste from the manufacture of Aluminum into food and drinking water supplies. These articles are all linked from a common web site called Fluoride-History.DE which at first glance appears to be a site that does not necessarily want to weigh in as being for or against the intentional placement of hazardous industrial waste into drinking water, but instead is trying to be sort of an unbiased reporter of this history.

Here is just one article that seems to be against the idea of intentionally placing hazardous industrial waste into drinking water.

Upon reading some of the Pro articles, it quickly becomes clear that there has been in fact various people of various caliber called in to apply professional-grade spin "studies" for this situation.

Before wading into this sea of Pros and Cons that is itself inhabited by various pros and con-men, consider the hard facts. In the early 1900s, Financier Andrew Mellon arranged funding to upgrade/diversify the then Pittsburgh Reduction Company into ALCOA - Aluminum Company of America, becoming a major stock holder as a result of the financial ministrations he brought to bear in this arrangement. Also note that in the early 1900s, the abomination known as the Federal Reserve was legislated into being by Congress and Woodrow Wilson. NOTE: despite the word "federal" in this title, the Federal Reserve is not a formally & lawfully approved agency of the U.S. Government, and despite the word "reserve" in it's title, the Federal Reserve does not maintain an actual reserve of anything of substance other than the special paper, green ink and computer-generated numbers which is all they need in order to manufacture "money" out of thin air with the stroke of a pen. Even though they can create this money as such, upon loaning it out to the U.S. Government, they require that payments back to them for these loans must be made by items of substance - such as gold. This placed total control of America's money/credit/financing power into the hands of the principal stock owners of the Federal Reserve Bank who so happened to be made up exclusively by private banking houses domestic and foreign (Rockefellers, Rothshilds, Lazars, Chase, Kuehn/Loeb, Warburgs, Schiffs, et. al). In his exhaustive research of the Federal Reserve, Eustace Mullins revealed that a primary weapon used covertly by the private cabal of Federal Reserve controllers was the tool of interlocking-directorates; IE> board members of one organization, such as central banks, holding similar titles and positions on various boards of corporations all across the spectrum of global industry/commerce. Consider the notion of "conflict of interest" as it applies in this instance. Meanwhile, back on the fluoride front, the manufacture of aluminum produces toxic waste - namely in the form of fluoride sludge, which, by the laws of that era, required proper handling "disposal" which in turn was quite costly. By 1920, Mellon, who himself had donated copiously to the presidential campaign of Harding, was promoted to be Harding's Secretary of Treasury (remember that thing about interlocing-directorates?) In that era. the Federal Government's Department of Public Health Services (DPHS) was under the control of.... the Department of Treasury (sic).... go figure. In the late 1920s, in various locale's across America, it was being discovered that residents where fluoride was later found to have gotten into the drinking water were experiencing mal-formed teeth IE> mottled teeth. By the time Mellon retired from his ministrations within DPHS, Fluoride had magically been "studied" and found to have been beneficial for "preventing tooth decay, and making the teeth and bones of children 'strong'". This of course has turned out to be quite the windfall for the ALCOAs of the world. Instead of spending $$ to properly dispose of the waste of their manufacturing, they can now sell this waste - at well inflated prices, into the general food & water supply of the populous.

Meanwhile, ALCOA had developed a laboratory to exclusively perform R&D for further applying it's aluminum products in various uses of everyday life (remember that thing called interlocking-directorates?). This laboratory was known as Mellon Institute of Industrial Research. Starting in 1926, this lab even had a "utensil fellowship" that researched the effects of aluminum on foods. They also had a "sugar fellowship" looking for ways to further improve the bottom line of Sugar sales during the rough & tumble times of global financial manipulations still referred this day as "the Great Depression". Today, this lab is called Carnegie-Mellon University, is widely known as one of the many covert assets controlled and manipulated by the U.S. Intel operations, but, at least locally, is known fondly and proudly as a high institution for promising young minds to go and study and develop into great techno wizards.
