While he was attending a job in my home I mentioned casually that all of us had one thing stalking us each and every day and each day we were one day closer to it whether we liked it or not. He asked what it was and I said "death".

He probably thought  you were a nutjob with plans to eat his brain for supper.

I would have booked, too. =)
