Glad you contributed.
On Nystatin: one might want the liquid, Sugar free formula. Maybe I am wrong. After reading shroom's research and other outside material I have a different "take" on thrush. Nystatin kills Candida on contact (punching holes in the cell membrane), which was why it is prescribed in liquid suspension for thrush. BUT if the problem stems from overgrowth "below" the tongue and esoph (as in the gut/intestines), I imagine the Nystatin pills could be of use. I have both at this point.
Nystatin is practically a natural compound, as I see it. Check out the history on it, the women who discovered/created it from soil (the name Nystatin is dirived from for New York State - NYSTA...) It's an interesting story. Almost as interesting as that of Rife, minus the consipracy and the murders. Certainly not as outrageous.
The women did not live long enough to see this drug help people to the extent that was finally realized possible. But it's the one anti-fungal which is entirely absorbed in the GI (upper, mostly I think) and does not reach the liver, is at least considered non-toxic. It's also the only one that shoots to kill, not starve. Unharmful - It is given to babies.
Surely the Candida Forum has prolific info/posts on this.
