To be honest i think what they are saying is pretty ridiculous though. The HSV virus is easily killed off with simple soap. It is not a hard virus to kill AT ALL. If your dental hygenist does not use methods to clean his equipment that wont kill the HSV virus then they wont be killing off most other bacteria and viruses present in most peoples mouth either and you really have to question whether they should be practising dentists at all.

What about if someone didnt know they had it or indeed had HIV without knowing ... des that mean the dentist will use the equipment to treat other people anyway??? Their argument is terrible, if patients knew about this they wouldhav a law suit on their hands.
