Its so encouraging to see my brothers and sisters out there taking responsibility for their health and deciding to be better stewards of the wonderful bodies that God has given us.

Like Charles I too have experimented with fat intake without problems. In fact I've eaten stuff that should have sent me to the hospitol doubled over in agony, but instead have slept like a baby pain free every night since my first flush. I have had some very mild discomfort a couple of times, but nothing like before. I was fortunate to have enough time to do the cleanses before I flushed so the temple is being cleared in order.

It is a little scary walking in places you've never gone before Julie, but that's where faith comes in, right? You don't need to see the ground if the Voice is telling you to step out. Where He guides He also provides all that is needed.

BTW, just in case no one has told you, stay away from fats and too much protein. That is what triggers most GB attacks. I didn't get that info until I was recovering from kidney surgery (kidney cancer) and the kitchen let me order anything I wanted and I had a massive gb attack right there in hospitol. You should have seen them scramble to help me out and knock the pain down. There I was with 32 staples keeping my insides from becoming my outsides and in a lot of gb pain. Post surgery wards do not like seeing their patients in pain. Any how, that's when I saw a dietician for the first time and learned what to avoid "until I had my GB out" of course. That was May 4th 2002. Today I stii have my GB and I'm eating what I want, although I am going to ease up dramatically on the fats and get back to a healthier diet again. Its up to God on whether I will have two kidenys again, but in the mean time He is giving me the Grace to live with the one I have and teaching me how to treat it better too.

Do keep us all posted Julie and happy flushing.
Brother Tim
