Hi,
A related question -- does the water in which one drinks one's Iodine count toward the daily recommended water intake amount, and how does salt affect the equation. i.e., if I weigh 125 lbs, so need about 65 oz/day, can I just Iodine that or should we drink even more. And when I add some salt, should I be increasing fresh water? I wonder, come to think of it, if a good salt is OK for older people who have been told to stay away from salt and who may be taking high blood pressure drugs. I mean, low-sodium is a mantra for older people.
I am trying to get my folks to switch to Redmonds. Why is it that good salt is OK, but bad salt is not?
Thanks again for taking time to re-explain...I feel lost without my search capability!
Laura
