Thanks, Uny. I thought about that but we do not have a burner here (I am at my mom's, where there is just dial-up, too -- our town is so small we can't get cable or wireless). Maybe what I can do is make a presentation then make c.d.'s when I get back to Richmond -- if you don't mind sending the files, my e-mail address is anderson3424@yahoo.com.)

I really think that the bromine/solid, un-get-riddable fat issue is a big one. I am also wondering about the rise in skin cancer due to Iodine deficiency. I feel like both overweight and skin cancer have risen in incidence since 1980 and that that was when Iodine came out of and bromine went into bread, etc. is no coincidence. I was listening to a radio program a few weeks ago on the increase in skin cancers like the one our friend has and all I could think was, "Iodine!" and it seems like people just have these stores of fat they didn't used to have -- I remember that as a child seeing a really fat person was more of anomaly than it is now. Moreover, it seems like the *way* people gain weight is different, with that lower-stomach fat that just sits there. I am so sure that's bromine-related.

Thanks again,

Laura
